Xiaomi Mi TV 4A: A Smart TV with 43 inch Screen and Voice Control



Xiaomi TV 4A series - The all-new Mi TV 4A will be marketed as a smart TV with AI-based speech recognition. The new MI TV 4A series includes four screen-sizes - 43, 49, 55, and 65-inches, and they will be available in AI with speech recognition and non-AI variants. The basic Mi TV 4A 43-inch (1080p) model will be priced at CNY 2,099 (roughly Rs. 20,000) while the 49-inch (1080p) model will be priced at CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs. 24,750). The Mi TV 4A 55-inch and 65-inch 4K models have been priced at CNY 3,199 (roughly Rs. 30,500) and CNY 5,699 (roughly Rs. 54,000). The 49, 55, and 65-inch models will be also available in with AI Speech Recognition as well as come with new Mi Bluetooth Remote Control. The third-generation Mi Bluetooth Remote Control has been priced at CNY 99 (roughly Rs. 1,000) and will come with Bluetooth, Speech Recognition, Mi Touch, and Infrared features.


Meanwhile, a 43-inch model, on the other hand, features has 3 HDMI ports and Wi-Fi support, in addition to 3 USB ports, S/PDIF port, an Ethernet port, AV ports and 3.5mm headphone out. Xiaomi Mi TV 4A 32-inch with 1366 x 768 screen resolution costs Rs 13,999 whereas a 43-inch model with 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) resolution is priced at Rs 22,999. These prices are highly competitive for Smart TVs in their respective size class.


The Mi TV 4X Pro finally comes to India. The predecessor of this model, the Mi TV 4X 55-inch is currently on sale in the Chinese market. The Mi TV 4X 55-inch TV has a 60Hz refresh rate panel with (38402160 pixels) 4K HDR resolution. The Mi TV 4X Pro 55-inch is powered by a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor which has been clocked at 1.5GHz. For graphics, the LED TV is powered by a Mali-450 GPU, which is clocked at 750MHz. The Mi TV 4X Pro also gets 2GB of RAM with 8GB of native storage. The Mi TV 4X Pro sports super narrow bezels that help in a more immersive viewing experience. Other major features of the TV include Dolby Audio support, AI-oriented Voice Recognition, and two 8W speakers.


This television is part of the Xiaomi MI TV 4A series the company announced earlier this year in March. At 32-inch, this is the smallest TV Xiaomi has ever produced. The television has a screen resolution of 1366x768 pixels and has a refresh rate of 60Hz.


The Mi TV 4A runs a quad-core Cortex-A53 Amlogic T962 processor clocked at 1.5GHz and has Mali-450 MP3 GPU for graphics. The smart TV also has 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory. The TV comes equipped with Xiaomi's AI-based PatchWall system powered by Android which can recommend content to viewers based on their viewing habits and preferences. It also has AI-based speech recognition system.


Under the hood, the Mi LED TV 4X Pro boasts of a 64-bit quad-core SoC, with 2GB RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage. On the connectivity front, Xiaomi has packed in three HDMI ports, two USB ports, an AV Input, and an S/PDIF. The other prominent Mi TV 4X features include an AI-based voice recognition system, ultra-thin design, and a universal remote.


Xiaomi has also introduced multi purpose Mi Remote Control, which also has infrared in addition to Bluetooth to work with most applicances such as setup box. It has Mi Touch that replaces traditional navigation buttons so you can use gestures to control your TV. The new Mi Bluetooth Remote also has Speech Recognition that uses Sogou ASR speech recognition technology that promises 97% accuracy.


For various reasons, the vast majority of the televisions we review at Gadgets 360 are high-end; you'll find that most of our recent reviews are for big-screen 4K HDR TVs. However, there are a huge number of buyers who want smaller screen sizes, particularly 32 inches and 43 inches, for reasons such as space restrictions, availability of content, and price. This TV's audio output is 20 Watts, with powerful stereo speakers and DTS-HD support. The TV runs on Android TV 9 and comes with a built-in Chromecast. The TV has a bezel-less design, LED panel, vivid picture engine, detailed picture controls, and an ultra-bright screen.

On 26 May, Redmi unveiled the Redmi 10X Series, featuring the Redmi 10X Pro 5G, Redmi 10X 5G and Redmi 10X 4G. Why we like it: The Google Pixel 7 Pro is a bigger, better version of the Pixel 7, and it includes a 6.7-inch, 1440p OLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It also includes a fantastic 5x optical-zoom lens on the back.


We are using the Mi TV 4X Pro 55-inch with 4K resolution and we can safely say that its the safest option compared to the bunch of other 4K smart TVs.
