I have GTA 4 on Steam and I use commandline.txt but it doesn't work. When I launch it, Rockstar Social Club just pops up asking me to log in and after I click Play or Play Offline, the game starts and commandline.txt doesn't work just as if it's ignored
Gta Iv Commandline Txt
Okay, so a while ago I had to reset my PC due to a nasty virus, and I had the best commandline.txt ever... It worked on a bad gaming PC, which doesn't even have a good graphics card ( if any)... I know I found it on youtube or something, but I need a commandline.txt like that one, that can substitue in for a graphics card at the moment. It also could actually work good enough for me to make it full screen res. Thanks in advance, guys.

Long story short, I've had a bitch of a time getting GTA IV through Steam, to actually save my settings, and I had to keep resetting them. I found a work around for it, however, I have no idea how to get all the settings just the way I want. It involves modding the commandline.txt file, deleting the settings cfg, and then launching directly via the exe, NOT through Steam.
You can these commands easily by creating a commandline.txt file within your default GTA IV install folder (the default is C:Program FilesRockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto IV), put each command on its own line to run multiple commands at once. 2ff7e9595c
